This bar and Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. Nothing can be better than ordering good swiss burgers, salads and bacon. Nice place. Loved the vibe. I actually have a veggie burger version of the Star(promised my wife). Still pretty good. Beer selection was 👍🏼. “Highly Recommendation”(quoting a friend)! This is one of our favorite places to go to have a nice casual dinner and hang out with our friends. 50/50 offers 50 beers and 50 burgers to choose from. Since their ground beef is fresh I can get mine rare, which I prefer but can be hard to find. I don't drink but my husband and friends do and they always find something they like, including available flights. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the beers available. Perfect experience! Even the February weather assisted and allowed us to sit outside with our dog (Sergeant Stryker). The 50/50 Burger, fries, beer cheese pretzle and Chocolate Stout were excellent. Forgot to take photos, but the burgers were absolutely phenomenal. They were ginormous and so tasty. The veggie burger had so much flavor and the regular burgers were cooked too perfection. They were great about allergies and safety making sure everything was good. The beer selection was awesome with a variety of styles. Very glad we stopped on our trip. We weren't sure where to eat, so we popped into 50/50 Taphouse at random. It was a pleasant surprise. There are extensive beer and cider offerings, as well as wine and drinks. I appreciated that they brewed iced tea, instead of having nasty fountain tea. The menu has an impressive variety of burgers. The ground beef can be substituted for chicken breast or black bean patty if meat isn't your thing. They offered gluten free buns, however, the fryer isn't dedicated to fries/tots. If your cross contamination/contact sensitive then be mindful of that. As an appetizer we got loaded tots and gravy/cheese tots. Both were amazing. One recommendation would be to install a diaper changing station in the restroom. We had to change our baby on a bench. There were at least four infants (aside from ours) in the restaurant when we visited, so it's super kid friendly otherwise. Leaving with full bellies!!!!! We will definitely return!
