I can't believe I paid $50 for this bland, stale food. Who cares if it's made from scratch if it's clearly warmed up in a microwave and has no flavor? If you like to pay top dollar for nursing home cafeteria food this is the place for you. The dessert was delicious but overpriced like everything else. Food was fresh and hot. My chicken sandwich was good, but those burgers looked tastier. Cindy, my waitress, never let my drink go empty and was very attentive. This place is so good! Made from scratch meals! I could seriously just eat the homemade bread. The desserts are amazing, too. I used to work in a little 50s diner in Fremont, WI, and this place brings back lots of memories! We have lived in Brooklyn Park for almost 2 years and just recently found this gem. We frequent 50s Grill on occasion and it’s usually very good! We mostly get burgers, sandwiches and fries. I’m personally a big fan of their turkey club sandwich - they use freshly carved, oven roasted turkey breast on there and it’s delicious. They also have pretty good desserts! They’re all-in on the 50’s vibe - from the decore to the servers, you kind of feel like you’re transported backwards in time. Loved the menu built for all of us & our picky eater. Wished I'd had more room for more than just 2 slices of pie (typically its more like 4 slices & icecream) maybe next time we're passing through we'll have more time to enjoy your establishment & try more of your award winning desserts. I love this place! It's so cute so '50s! The posters on the wall, the waitresses in the poodle skirts and the atmosphere is wonderful! Had the bacon cheeseburger but forgot to take a picture! I did take pictures of the interior and a lot of their desserts. Definitely a place to check out!
