Ordered the cheese curds, looked kinda odd from the menu but cheese curds are cheese curds you would THINK.. nope. They were SWEET.. ew. The sauces on the side were apple sauce. And some sort of extremely spicy red sauce. Luckily I took a bite first before my children did, to my surprise and no warning to it being spicy I was completely caught off guard and peeved. My children are extremely sensitive to spice it would have been chaos if they had taken a bite before me. Our drinks were pricey and not good. On top of it all they sat us right next to the bathroom with our newborn baby... disgusting. 0/10 won't return and never recommending this place to any friends or family. The food and service were good. The Atmosphere specifically the music kinda sucked... conversation while having to listen to hip-hop gangsta in the bedroom is not what a class restaurant should have on. I'm not bringing my kids there again.... private parties, play what you like. General crowd you'd be better off with some jazz, smooth or otherwise in the background. A great place we go to often for brunch. Never had dinner here but I assume it's probably pretty good. Everything we've had is delicious over the years. Except the lobster bisque. It was absolutely terrible. Other than that 5 stars. The walleye shrimp Benny is amazing. Love their waffles and French toast as well. Good options for kids as well. Awesome bustling atmosphere. If you're headed in morning time make sure you make a RESERVATION or you'll be waiting in a line nearly out the door. You'll also feel much cooler knowing you made a reservation (as any busy restaurant) and instantly skip the line. Very good atmosphere, food quality and service. Wife had eggs Benedict (gluten free) and I had Kentucky chicken sandwich. Both entrees arrived nice and hot. I would highly recommend. Stopped by to grab a quick lunch with a friend after coffee. Place was nice and quiet, perhaps because it was a week day. Still, very nice place, friendly stuff and the food was excellent! It was a busy time so we decided to sit at the bar and check it out. The walleye shrimp cakes were a pleasant surprise. But even better was the service. Garret and Jack made us feel like we were long lost friends and we had a great time. There are many places to eat around there but finding service of this level is hard to come by. I've been here quite a few times over the years. Food is really good I like their portion size especially for breakfast you don't feel overly full but you feel perfectly comfortably full. Dinner and lunch menus are really good too rotating new things in. Staff are always really friendly and on top of it. It does get a little crazy at peak times though so wait times can be a little bit high. And it can be a bit noisy when it's full. But not to single out 3 squares Maple Grove in general it's just chaotic during dinner time. Overall 3 Squares that's a great restaurant I got a really cool bar too! If you're in the area and you're looking for a good place to dine in or grab a drink 3 squares is worth checking out! Enjoyed myself. Nice environment and great food. The waitress was really busy and found a great balance for everyone to feel welcome. We sat outside, weather was nice and relaxing. Due to the sun being in our eyes, we asked to move to a different table, and she handled it promptly. I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Nice family restaurant in a busy retail corridor. The ambiance is relaxed and the staff pleasant. Our appetizers and meals came quickly even though the were busy with. 30+ minute waitlist up front.
