No trust and transparency in prices...
The menu states 2$ for a beer but they charged 80 córdobas for it and give out an exchange rate of 36, which is taking advantage of the clients. Asking for an explanation, the bar woman only says, that's the price she has to charge and the exchange rate is 36. Telling her that 2x36=72 cords, she just says nothing - that's not ok. It's not about the money which is little (although for the majority of Nicaraguans 2$ is a lot, since it's a poor country), it's about the fact that a business is trustworthy and transparent with its prices. Imagine, you consume a lot and they charge as they wish. I'm happy to give a tip, but it's my decision and not the decision of the business. If you charge 80 cords, then write 2,50$ in the menu, just be transparent. Otherwise clients feel betrayed. It's not an unreliable taxi driver at the corner, but a well-known bar in San Juan.
Hope the comment helps. Good luck 🤞

This was without a doubt the worst meal I have eaten in a long time. The fried calamari tasted like it was old and had a dry, rubbery texture that was more in line with what beef jerky might taste like. The Cuban sandwiches were even worse, the bread had the consistency of cardboard and the filling lacked any discernible flavour. I was forced to gulp down half of this awful meal by taking swigs of water in between bites. The items were overpriced and the atmosphere can only be described as dirty and washed up. Please do yourself a favour and avoid eating at this place. To its credit, I didn’t get sick.

Best Espresso coffee extraction.
Awesome coffee, you may ask for macchiatos with liquor.
Live music and karaoke depending on the day.
Nice people, fresh air, nice menu to choose from for breakfast, lunch or some Tapas for the night time.
Ask for Mauro.
Had a great local Nica band playing when i walked by, doing Radiohead and Audioslave covers, so I walked in. Lots of Nica and Spanish music played by other bands, well-priced beer, good vibe to see some live music.
