Tried the beans, biscuits, and cowboy coffee (a little bitter for me, but this ain't Starbucks LOL). The cook was super knowledgeable about the old chuckwagon and what trail life was like! Service: 5
This chuck wagon experience with Chuck master Rich and his wife was one of the highlights of our time in Cody. Arrived as Rich was setting up his cooksite, grabbed some soda and beer from the canteen and then kicked back. Rich was awesome, happy to answer questions about the wagon, the area, his process, tools and recipes! Kids enjoyed relaxing in the pretty evening air while some of them watched him cook and prepare. The helpings we're generous and the food was delicious. Steak is cooked to your liking over a campfire, all of the other items are prepped in cast iron dishes. Dessert was a stellar finish with hot cobbler and cold ice cream. Couldn't ask for a nicer, more engaging couple to host you!
What a lovely experience right outside the Buffalo Bill Cody Centre. Which is a museum of museums. The gentleman running the Chuckwagon was an absolute wealth of knowledge. The beans and bread were fantastic. Cowboy Coffee too. Just such a great experience right out of the truck and not even at the door to the extensive museum. Meal type Other
My husband and I can't say enough about the 2 Mules Chuckwagon experience! As locals, we went several times with different family and friends during the 2021 season! This dinner option not only gives you a peek into what historical cooking on cattle drives and dude ranches were like, it gives you the best dang steak and beans in all of Wyoming (with legitimate awards and my family's tastebuds to back up those claims)! Cookie Rich will make sure your beans, biscuits, and steak are cooked to perfection in authentic dutch ovens (come rain or shine!) while his wife Debbie entertains guests, answers questions, and makes a mean salad (with ranch and/or huckleberry dressing to accompany it). At the end of the meal, when you think you can't possibly eat anymore delicious food, Rich brings over the last dutch oven filled with homemade blackberry cobbler, the perfect addition to your cowboy coffee (which is my husband's favorite part). Bring your appetite (and maybe a to-go box)!

The steak was amazing. I wish I had his secret rub! Perfectly cooked and very tender. Beans, bread a cobbler were awesome too. I would definitely eat with these folks again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
A wonderful experience! Good food (my children ate everything), and you spend a nice evening: you can chat with everyone. You share a good meal and a nice moment. I definitely recommend!
The steak was without a doubt the best steak I have had in years. This is an amazing experience. Our Cookie Rich, is a competition chuck wagon cook. He had the wagon setup as an 1860's chuck wagon. Charles Goodnight would be proud. We arrived early to watch the going's on. He had a fire pit going with mesquite wood burning down to coals. Cookie was busy mixing the cobbler and the biscuit dough. The cowboy coffee was on. Rich's wife was serving ice water, lemonade and serving salads. She had ranch and a huckleberry dressing. Watching the steaks cook was fun. There was a thick textured rub on the steaks. He called up the rare steaks first. I was the last with a medium. With the steaks are cowboy beans and a fresh hot biscuit. After dinner Rich serves just cooked over the coals blackberry cobbler and ice cream. The cobbler is awesome. I asked about the rub. It's a secret folks. So you have to try it here.

We had a fantastic experience with Rich and Deb. Great food, plus we got to meet some nice people from all over the country, and learned a few things about trail life.
Great food and great hosts. Can't wait to come back for more cobbler. Nothing beats a meal cooked by fire.
