They have many bread with unique tastes. The cuttlefish ink bread with baked cheese is the most surprised one to me, and others like focaccia with potato and truffle are also amazing. Highly recommended if you are here.

Ok for what it is but not worth going out of the way for it. Slightly on the pricer side for bread in Taiwan. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–200 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I tried the chestnut and caramel danish and the chocolate croissants 🥐, both are yummi. I also got curious about the black bread (which contain cuttlefish ink) and it was mmm... an interesting experience...

Everything looks good there, we bought the squid ink cheese bread and custard melon pan, they were delicious!

While the Eiffel Tower outside may not coincide with all the items sold in-store such as typically Taiwanese bread varieties, 181 does have a larger- and more authentic-than-average selection of rustic breads, flaky French pastries, cookies and elegant cakes. In fact, I was pretty impressed - and not just for Hualien. The decadent caramel pastry (焦糖奶油酥) is worth trying; I just wish the hard sugar bottom wasn't so thick! - Mimi's Cake Tour

As a French girl I can say their pastry are really good! Service is nice too. Already came there twice since I discovered it! If you're looking for a "galette des rois" you can definitely try theirs!

Friendly staff who serves really authentic European crusty toothsome bread with a twist. Very tasty products. Good variety of Japanese/ Taiwanese buns also.
