Impressive! I was thrown back as I walked through the door for the first time. The atmosphere is unlike any coffee or tea establishment I’ve visited so far in the area. Very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The staff is prompt and very knowledgeable. This is at the top of my list. A great place to study, read, hang with an equally great beverage. Came for desert since Bearded Papa next door decided to close early. Staff are younger. They they are soft-spoken and sweet. We had only an egg waffle, and it was plain, and honestly, the taste was ok. If you get the whole shebang like the ice cream and chocolate syrup or the sweet cheese foam, it might taste better. I've been a loyal customer at Yi-cha for years, but my recent visit left me incredibly disappointed. I ordered a drink that ended up being 90% ice, which for $7 feels like a rip-off. The new staff seemed unfriendly and incapable of making the drink correctly. It's a shame to see the decline in quality and service.
