Was a 10 minute wait when we arrived on 3/3 early afternoon. We were seated in the back room where it was very warm. After placing our drink order it seemed almost as if we were forgotten about. Our server arrived apologizing for the wait, as another table was taking forever to order. From here all we got were apologies and uncomfortable interactions as other tables were allegedly causing our server to have issues.
The food, great. We split a platter and with sausage,brisket and ribs between the 2 of us and a pizza from the kids menu for our toddler.
After our food arrived our server checked in on us twice. We were dealing with our toddler having a moment throughout our meal, so we weren't able to just scarf everything down as quickly as the staff seemed to have wanted us to. Our server as well as a busser walked up to us several times asking if we wanted boxes or to remove plates from the table. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome as we sat and tried to enjoy our meal. Was our family too much of a hassle?
Will return because of the food, but hope the staff is more welcoming in the future.
