May have been an off night. But woof. We were sat and greeted immediately; friendly staff, clean restaurant with plenty of space. Several families seemed to be having a lovely time. All is well. Greeted and brought drinks, just waters. Fairly quick. We are then left with the menu for 20 min - a long wait considering we were only in just a little before an hour before they closed. It seemed very obvious we may be one of the last few tables of the night. After a very long wait, and me refilling my water myself at the counter, the server comes back around and asks if we were ready to order. Yes, absolutely I say thankfully. We get our order in and figure on a little bit of a wait, so we settle in. Families filter out, and our food is brought out in minutes. Hot, sizzling, and smothered in cheese. AWESOME! But not. I cut into the burrito I ordered (the fajita burrito with *steak, side of rice and beans) and am a little confused. The Footlong burrito I was served (with no rice and beans) was entirely full of rice. There were sparse few pieces of dry, sad, and tough chicken (not steak) and seemingly no fajita vegetables at all. Not joking, like... None. In the fajita burrito. Wrong protien, and chicken that was so tough and dry I wasn't even sure what protein it was and had to ask for clarification. Sad, hard rice. No vegetables. A very absent wait staff. And I am NEVER one to complain. Nearly 10 years serving in the industry, and I never want to be "that" customer. But, I was genuinely just put off, and was completely uninterested in my meal. I apologized to the waiter, but snag him and ask how my meal was entered to make sure it was right. It was repeated back incorrectly to me. Wrong protien, right meal. But no sides. The rice and beans it was served with seemed to be inside the Footlong burrito. Beans? No sight of em. The rice was terrible, the chicken was terrible, and there were no veggies to speak of. But then, with my 6 lbs of hard, patchily reheated rice in a tortilla, I was told I had eaten all the chicken, so I was asked what he was supposed to tell his chef. Seemed like an odd question, considering it wasn't supposed to be chicken to begin with. And I was so confused by the color and texture of my "steak" that I only was brave enough to try just a couple pieces before asking. Not sure I'd say that was me eating all the chicken. My server brings my torn apart Footlong burrito back to the chef to see what he thinks of things. There's some shouting, and our server comes back out and excuses our meal from our ticket. So the accusations, with the inattention to my order, as well as a haphazardly prepared meal.. I was disappointed. And truthfully just ready to leave. My partners meal was prepared properly, looked, and tasted fine. We asked just to pay and go, and our server happily obliged. I left the restaurant a little shaken up lol, I'm not one for confrontation and hated being any sort of issue for anyone that night. But woof. We are just travelers in this town, and we were just there for a few days. So don't let my one experience detract from the other positive reviews (I'd assume there are some). The atmosphere was lovely, and it seemed the locals enjoyed themselves greatly. May have just been an off night for someone, but I figure I'd share. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Waitress was extremely rude. When asked questions about being overcharged for items, we were told she was too busy to ask anyone. I have never encountered being completely blown off like that before. Food was okay but was overcharged from what was on menu and had the worst service I ever have had before. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Los Cabos in Thermopolis is one of those places I won't return to. It's expensive food for Mexican, and mediocre at best, as far as quality. My frijoles came semi cold, and the ice tea was past prime. The waitstaff are all undocumented aliens and the manager is not friendly and expects a big tip. As I stated, I won't be back, as there are other and better places to eat in Thermop. Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
