I walked in at 3:58 and they're supposed to close at 4. I wanted to buy a drink but the guy got in my face and said "sorry we're closed" and slammed the door on my face. Terrible hospitality Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Expensive and they will not give you a cup for water. Don’t buy beer here. Expensive and they make you purchase food with it.

Adorable and friendly grab and go coffee shop featuring hot drinks, sodas, breakfast treats, lunch items, and snacks! Fast service. Seating in lodge lobby just steps away. I will be back! Highly recommended! Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
They are supposed to open daily at 8:00 am but (when the manager isn’t there), they open late and ignore the rules of operational efficiency that I expect at a resort such as Vail. Even more disappointing is the nonchalant attitude of the workers.

This place has some amazing food and drinks. The truffle fries are going to change your world and view on what a fried spud can do. We love stopping in on cold ski days for a hot toddy and the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Pricey but outstanding.
The food was fantastic but I can’t get over how bad the cocktail service was that I’m giving it two stars. Also, I’m not entirely convinced that the poor cocktails are even the bartenders fault and rather the product of management and maybe an inexperience bar manager. I ordered the Midnight Oil- four roses bourbon, cointreau, orange, chimayo egg white. All things that go very well together… basically like a whiskey sour or a sidecar flip. Awesome. But it wasn’t. First, the drink is batched, they do not make your drink fresh. I watched the bartend pour an orangish colored liquid from a pitcher into a coupe. Which seems odd since it has egg white, right? Usually you need to shake an egg white with the other ingredients to get a nice creamy texture. This drink was not shaken. It was poured and then the bartender broke out a whipped cream dispenser and dispensed egg white foam on top of the drink. Second, the drink was so unbalanced (because the egg white was not shaken into the drink to smooth out the tart flavors). I ended up drinking it down then pouring water in the cocktail to make it drinkable without getting heart burn before the end of lunch. Third, the cocktail was $17. These are DC, NYC, Chicago prices… but when you pay that much in the big city you get a well crafted cocktail. We also had a Paloma, which was also just meh… but not as poorly executed as the Midnight Oil. Really, they need to take it off the menu… it’s that bad. Great food, my wife had grilled cheese and tomato soup. She said best she had ever had. I had a burger and was wonderful. Prices are inline with Vail.
