About
Blue Point Grille in Cleveland is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The restaurant has a great vibe and the food is even better. From their famous Blue Point Oysters to their Lobster Bisque and Lobster Bolognese, there's something for everyone. The service is top-notch and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The entrées are cooked perfectly, with a wide variety of options like swordfish, halibut, and filet mignon. The sides are also delicious, especially the Brussel sprouts and lobster mashed potatoes. For dessert, try the New York Cheesecake or the Valrhona Chocolate Flourless Tart. The prices may be a bit higher than average, but it's worth it for the quality of food and service you get. Overall, Blue Point Grille is an excellent choice for a special occasion or just a night out.

I read BPG’s reviews prior to my dining experience and I can’t help but wonder if my experience was an outlier. We drove 45 minutes from Akron to BPG to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but I left the restaurant wanting a do over celebration and my 45 minutes back. The lobster bisque was thick fishy soup with small pieces of lobster. The taste and texture was just wrong. I didn’t like it at all. The waiter took it off our bill. Although the salads were tasty the plating was messy. The lettuce was piled high on the plate hiding large chunks of half beets and some quartered beets. Every cut resulted in me clanging the plate with my knife. My husband ordered the special, cornmeal fried bass. It was unevenly cooked. He ate around the fish eating the cooked parts. My scallops and shrimp were overcooked and plated around one side of the plate—the entire dining experience was uneventful. Atmosphere: 5
All around an amazing dining experience and the best seafood I have found in CLE area. We got the filet with lobster and two sharable sides. Portions were great and everything was cooked to perfection. My only downside was the shrimp cocktail was pricey for the size of the shrimp. It was good but wish they had been the jumbo size. I would recommend and will be back again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
